ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY

Astro-English: from Astronese, the prefix anti- is used to denote “negation” or “rejection of an assertion”, hence when conjoined to the word extraterrestrialism denoting “belief in the existence of some form of extraterrestrial life”, altogether means “active opposition to the notion of the existence of extraterrestrial life.”
